Our History

       The Malbis Nursery was built in 1928 and was part of the Malbis Plantation as a working nursery specializing in camellias and azaleas. The building is an elegant two-story Mediterranean Revival brick structure with two long arbors that were the original hothouses.

       Today, the original building is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is known as the Historic Malbis Nursery. Combining history and beautiful scenery provides an ideal setting for weddings and other special events.

       Historic Malbis Nursery is in Daphne, AL. Centrally located between Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL, 1 mile off from I10.
